Communities for Work (CfW) is a European funded project developed by Welsh Government aimed at tackling inequalities and long term unemployment. The project has an innovative multi-agency structure which includes staff seconded from the Department of Work and Pensions as Adult and Youth Advisors together with the CfW Team located within Conwy's Communities First Cluster. The programme will focus on reducing the number of 16-24 year olds who are not in employment, education or training and increasing the employability of economically inactive and long term unemployed adults aged 25 years + who have complex barriers to employment.
The Communities for Work Youth Employment Mentor will have responsibility for providing intensive mentoring to young people aged under 25, in support of Priority 3 of the CfW Operation.
