Conwy Council is looking for a 'hands on' team member to undertake works on Conwy Council facilities and services. These range from coastal and flood infrastructure to cemeteries and can include activities such as inspecting and reporting on culverts, drains, gulleys, pump stations and sewerage plant or burial operations, grounds maintenance and beach management. The operations of the team are wide ranging and require a dedicated team player who has a broad range of skills and experience.
As a Facilities Response Officer you will report directly to a Response Team Leader prepared to undertake a variety activities in line with your skills and qualifications.
Principal duties will include:
Educated to level 2 of the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales in an appropriate field, you will have practical skills and qualifications required to deliver these services. You will need to be an adaptable and resilient individual prepared to undertake physical work in all weathers whilst remaining motivated and task focussed.
The ability to communicate through the medium of English is essential and Welsh is advantageous.
