The System Support Officer post is a member of the Business Systems Team, which is responsible for the support, administration and development of a number of information systems used by the Social Care and Education Department in Conwy County Borough Council.
Duties for the System Support Officers include:• Providing induction training for new staff members.• Ongoing training for existing staff, including the roll out of new functionality.• System administration, including staffing the team's helpdesk on a rota basis.• Assisting with validation and audit work.• Assisting the team with understanding the department's business and technical requirements to enable the on-going development of its client information systems.
You will be fully supported and mentored by your colleagues to undertake a variety of tasks, making every day different and interesting.
The role will benefit from working within a hybrid model, which means a balance of working from home and at the state of the art building in Colwyn Bay.
